Service Description

In a safe environment and when you feel comfortable, you will share your personal life experiences, challenges, hopes and desires with your group peers and group leader. You will be provided with a wide range of educational material related to the mental health and addiction field of study. You will have an opportunity to write a life story focused around the progressive disease of addiction and the related negative consequences you have encountered as a result of your active addiction and/or mental health concerns. You will be educated on the multiple paths to recovery including the 12 Steps (AA, NA, CoDA, GA, OA, ACA, Al-non, etc.), Recovery Dharma, Celebrate Recovery, SMART Recovery, Rational Recovery, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and many more.
